The establishment f reference data and reference correlations in molecular solvents has been the task of IUPAC for several decades. Its importance for the quality assessment of measuring instrumentation, namely friendly-user commercial equipments, in wide ranges of temperature, has been discussed in several occasions. However, its need for ionic liquids needs a retrieval, after the first attempts by IUPAC project (IUPAC Project 2002-005-1-100 (Thermodynamics of ionic liquids, ionic liquid mixtures, and the development of standardized systems) [1,2]. Up to then, many measurements of density, heat capacity, viscosity and thermal conductivity of ionic liquids were erroneous due to impure samples (or not well characterized), inadequacy of methods of measurement, conducting liquids, reactions with cell components and complicate phase behavior [3,4]. Therefore, having recommended data (internationally accepted) to calibrate or test instrumentation, can pave the way to obtain low uncertainty and trustable data of many ionic liquids and their mixtures, and furnish chemical plant equipment designers for a new and sustainable industrial production.\nIt is the purpose of this report to discuss the situation of data standardization of thermophysical property data for [C6mim][(CF3SO2)2N] [5], at P = 0.1 MPa, as a function of temperature, using our experimental data and other reported in the literature up to July 2020 and to analyze its impact in future data production [5].\n[1] – K.N.
