Resumo
Titanate elongated nanomaterials have been studied as\\\\\\\\npromising catalysts for photoassisted oxidation processes,\\\\\\\\nincluding emergent pollutants removal. In this work, the\\\\\\\\nsynthesis and photocatalytic evaluation of novel strontiummodified\\\\\\\\ntitanate nanowires (TNW) is described. Pristine and\\\\\\\\nmodified SrTNW were obtained through hydrothermal treatment.\\\\\\\\nCharacterization data from XRD, Raman, XPS, TEM, and\\\\\\\\nDRS/PL, indicates no changes in the titanate crystalline structure\\\\\\\\nbut agrees with the existence of Sr in 2 distinct positions. The\\\\\\\\nphotocatalytic degradation of caffeine, used here as model\\\\\\\\npollutant, was evaluated under UV−vis and vis radiation. A clear\\\\\\\\nimprovement on TNW photocatalytic performance was observed\\\\\\\\nafter Sr incorporation. Hybrid films of g-C3N4 and SrTNW were\\\\\\\\nalso evalauted, confirming advantages on photocatalytic activity\\\\\\\\nand stability/reusability.
