Summary
In this work, the electrical conductivity of four ionic liquids with an anion 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium [EMIN] with the following cations: dicyanamide [DCA], ethylsulfate [EtSO3], thiocyanate [SCN], tricyanomethanide [C(CN)3], and four ionic liquids with an anion 1-Buthyl-3-methyl-imidazolium [BMIN] with the following cations: dicyanamide [DCA], tricyanomethanide [C(CN)3], thiocyanate [SCN], bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [NTF2], were studied.\\nThe electrical conductivity of the ILs was measured at atmospheric pressure, at temperatures between 293.15 K and 353.15 K. Temperature was an average measure with a PT100 near the outer walls of the electrical conductivity vessel and a thermistor inbuilt on an electrode from SI- Analytics LF 913 T, with five Pt rings. The electrical conductivity was measured at a frequency between 250 Hz and 8000 Hz and extrapolated to infinite frequency in order to reduce the effects of polarization. Further information about the measurement procedure of the electrical conductivity can be found in the reference [1]. Figure 1 displays the results obtained.
