Summary
Recent research and development on conduction (static) and convection (flow) heat\ntransfer of ethylene glycol (EG) and its aqueous mixture (EG/W)-based nanofluids have extensively\nbeen reviewed in this chapter. We begin with discussing and summarizing nanofluids,\npreparation and stabilization methods. Experimental results on the influences of nanoparticles\ntypes, sizes, and concentrations on the thermal conductivity of EG and EG + W-based nanofluids\nare critically reviewed. Convective heat transfer studies of these nanofluids are reviewed,\nand results from various researchers are also compared. Nanofluids were found to have significantly\nhigher thermal conduction and convective characteristics than those of their fluids
