Summary
This chapter addresses the design of accessible interfaces. Departing from an analysis of the challenges facing designers of interactive systems that want to create accessible solutions, the chapter presents novel interaction solutions that have high potential to increase the accessibility of future systems. The chapter focuses, in particular, modalities dealing with wearable and body?based interaction on one hand, and with mobile devices, touch interaction and Braille based solutions on the other.
